Dear Praying Friends,

What an absolutely phenomenal month this past month has been! God has blessed in so many ways and has continued to bring people into our path that we have made great friends with. God started this month off by giving us the great opportunity to man the “Amazing Grace Mission” booth at the North Carolina State Fair. During our time at the booth, I was able to lead a young man named Cameron to the Lord giving him assurance of his salvation! What an absolute honor! Immediately following that, the Missions Conference at Temple Baptist Church kicked off. God truly moved through the services there in the preaching, singing, and overall spirit of the conference!

It was incredible to hear the burdens of different missionaries and learn from the lessons they learned through the years they have spent on the field.

Unfortunately, we had to leave the day before the close of the conference as we embarked on our first long-distance travel of deputation. We were privileged to attend the services at Anchor Baptist Church in Millersville, Maryland, where we unexpectedly ran into very good family friends! We were able to fellowship with them as they so graciously invited us to eat lunch on the church property with the pastor, his family and our good friends. Isn’t it great to see how God puts people in your way to remind you that you are where you are supposed to be and you are doing what you are supposed to be doing? That evening we drove to Hagerstown where we spent the rest of our stay. Sunday night led to a great opportunity at Black Rock Bible Church where God provided my first opportunity to preach on deputation.

What a loving and friendly church they were! We were accompanied by the pastor and his son to dinner after the service where we were able to have great fellowship and learn more about the pastor and his burden for his area. Our final stop in Maryland was with Harvest Baptist Church at their missions conference. God truly blessed and gave great truths through the preaching by Bro. Jonathan Lyons. On the final night of the conference Pastor Moore announced that they would be taking on the new missionaries for support!

That night Harvest Baptist church became the first church to take us on for support other than our sending church. God is good! Monday morning after the conference we drove back down to Asheville where we had the chance to be a part of yet another missions conference with Little Ivy Baptist Church in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Wow, what a month! We heard some phenomenal preaching and saw some incredible giving of God’s people. We are so grateful to be just a small cog in God’s big plan for evangelizing the world!

Sincerely,
The Sears Family
