In the Rear-view Mirror
The blessings of God never seem to cease. This month has been simply incredible, we have seen God move, provide, call young people to the mission field, be encouraged in the Lord, and get fantastic fellowship. We have been on the road since the 3rd of September, we are still out on the road today and have not been home. We have truly enjoyed the chance to travel to so many different churches. In fact, we have just surpassed 100 churches on deputation! God is Good! Through these 100 churches, we have seen God meet needs through unbelievable means and increase our support. We are so thankful for your prayers as we continue on our journey towards reaching Iceland with the gospel. Please continue to pray for our safety on the road as well as our vehicles good condition to continue. What an encouraging time to be with all of the Icelandic missionaries this month we enjoyed the chance to get to know one another better as well as meet and brainstorm just how we will reach Iceland. While there are many more details to figure out, we are excited about what God has in store for Iceland.
The Road Ahead
Starting in October, we will begin even more travels. We will be in Florida, West Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina and still have more dates to fill, so we will be putting on many thousand more miles throughout the rest of this year. We are excited to see how God proves Himself again as we trust Him to meet our needs. We have at least three more missions conferences in addition to all of our other meetings, which we believe God will use to increase our support to 60% by the end of the year. There is no way this would be possible without God, but we are trusting Him to answer our prayer and get us to Iceland in March of 2023.
Fun Fact about Iceland
Iceland is considered to be one of the most eco-friendly countries in the world. In fact, Iceland just turned on a machine that draws over 4,000 tons of carbon out of the air every year. It is also Iceland’s goal to be carbon neutral by the year 2040. They also use the geothermal activity below them to their advantage by using it to heat their water and power buildings.
