In the Rear-view Mirror
God has been so good to us this past month yet again. Just last week we saw God bring us across the 50% threshold. We are halfway finished! As you can see, Everett is very excited about this new achievement. We are so thankful for all that God has done, we look back and see His hand all over the place providing and helping and guiding us to where we are today. Thank you all for your continued prayer and support, we could not do what we do without people like you.
Also this past month, I was able to begin an online Icelandic class that will last for eight weeks which provides a personal tutor that I have the opportunity to video chat with once a week for one hour to practice my oral learning of the language. Just one week has passed and already I have learned so much. While at our sending church, one Sunday school class put this (picture above) on their white board to teach the children how to say hello in Icelandic. How awesome to have such a supportive base to be sent from.
The Road Ahead
November is packed full of meetings in Florida and Georgia, which will almost conclude our years schedule. We have nine more churches to be in for the rest of the year and 10% left to fulfill our prayer request of 60% by the end of the year. We have faith that God will provide a fulfillment to this request. Please be praying with us that God would provoke churches to follow the Lord’s leading. We are so excited to see what is yet in store for this year and also all that God will do for us in 2022. Thank you again for all that you do.
Fun Fact about Iceland
Iceland is the only NATO country not to have a standing army, navy, or Air Force. They do have a Critical Response Team of about 200 people, however, none of them carry weapons or wear uniforms. They are famously known for their low crime ranking up with just 1.5 murders a year.
