Dear supporters,
In the Rear-view Mirror
God always comes through just in time, every time. Many of you may heard about our vehicle’s transmission having gone out. We had asked for prayer from several people and wrote a special letter to our supporting churches, and God used them to completely pay for our transmission! From the beginning, my wife and I turned to each other and said, “It is going to be OK, God has done it before, He will do it again.” And He did. We were at a church just last week where the pastor had all the missionary men forge a knife from a blank piece of steel. After we began beating on those pieces of red hot metal the comment was made “It is interesting how you learn more about how to deal with the heat the longer you are in the fire.” And how true this is. The more often we are tested, heated up, tried, pounded on and proven, the more familiar we become with how the Master works, and we can know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
The Road Ahead
October is a busy month filled with different meetings and conferences. We are very excited to be coming to a close on our deputation trail. The bulk of our meetings will be finished just before Thanksgiving. We have a few meetings between then and next March when we will be moving, but we will not be traveling as extensively as we have these past few years. It is constantly amazing for us to look back and see just how quickly God has raised our support. We know that there are many of you praying for us and we know that God is answering those prayers.
Sincerely,
The Sears Family
