In the Rear View Mirror
It is such an honor to continue serving God on the mission field. God has been so good to us this past month and we are so thankful for the great opportunities He gave to us this November. We still have not seen an eruption of the volcano, but God has kept us safe and it seems that activity is decreasing. Earthquakes have become very minor and undetectable for weeks now, however, volcanos are very unpredictable, so things could change very rapidly. We are so thankful for the many messages of encouragement and prayer we have received. To the right is a map of the area with the location of where the volcano may erupt, where we live and where our church is located. We are so blessed to have such a strong base of churches praying for us here in Iceland. The earthquakes and threat of a volcano have not stopped our ministry. We celebrated thanksgiving here, and had a great attendance with many new visitors! Pictured right is a sweet group of ladies who attended.
The Road Ahead
December will be a tremendously busy month for us, our church will host a Christmas play where the children will sing and read the biblical Christmas story. Their parents will be invited and will be a great opportunity to present them with the gospel. Among all of this, our regular ministry outreach and services will continue which will prove to be a very busy time. On top of that, we are expecting the birth of our sweet daughter Amelia sometime this month. We greatly appreciate your prayers in this area.
