Dear Supporters,
Merry Christmas! As we are now in the full swing holiday mode, I just want to take a moment to thank you for continuing your support to worldwide missions. We do not take the responsibility and honor lightly and we are so grateful that you have decided to partner with us to reach Iceland.
In the rear-view mirror.
This past month was a whirlwind. With over 2,200 miles and almost 40 hours on the road, we have finally reached home once again. God gave us wonderful road conditions, and no vehicular problems once again. God has taken such good care of us through everything, and we saw Him do many wonderful unexpected things this month. As I write this letter, our apartment is mostly packed as we have been able to find a duplex not far from us which has another bedroom and more square footage for the same amount of rent. We are so happy to see God continue to provide at every turn. We would greatly appreciate your prayers that our transition would go smoothly and that we would not have any unexpected hiccups along the way.
What’s next?
As we settle down once again for the next “wave” of COVID, we are trusting God to provide once again. We have tentative plans for after the new year, however there is so much uncertainty with the increased volume of positive testing. We are eagerly awaiting the holidays as we celebrate all that God has done for us this year, and His birth. Even through the fire, God is still good. We may not understand it, but He is good. So from our home to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas.
Fun Fact about Iceland.
Beginning in the winter, Iceland is an incredible place on our globe to see one of God’s most incredible phenomena. The Aurora Borealis, also known as the northern lights (Norourlj6s in Icelandic) are able to be seen throughout the season. What a wonderful display of God’s amazing artistic abilities.
Sincerely,
The Sears Family
